Voki is a free web application that allows you to create personalized speaking avatars that you can upload or embed into your website, blog, or wiki-space. You do have to sign-up if you wish to save your voki and use it again. There is also a lesson plan section that has pre-made lessons to use with a Voki on the website. This could be a fun an interesting way for students to publish their latest writing piece or to use as a morning greeting for students.
