I realize that the Discovery Education service offers a large variety of videos for teachers across the curriculum, but I also think that you should take a look at all the other things that this site offers. The resources section is quite easy to navigate through because everything is previewed right in front of you and there is no need for additional windows to pop-up, unless you want to find out more about that particular topic.
One of the neat sections of this area is titled 5 minute warm-up and within this section is a brain booster. This would be something that you could be completed each day with your morning exercise or an "extra" assignment that could be due by the end of the day or the next day. If you find the brain booster not related to a topic that you have discussed or want to do another one you can browse the brain booster library.
In addition to the above mentioned items there are lesson plans, dates not to miss, spotlight on certain topics and much more. The next time you venture onto Discovery Education for a video take a look at something that could go along with that lesson.
